Based on a story from Panamanian folklore. Ernesto is the youngest of three sons. His family is poor and his mother is ill. When his brothers fail to return with the much-needed medicine, Ernesto must shoulder the responsibility and face the evil crow in order to cross the bridge into La Ensenada.
