Nugenipe lives on an island in Kuna Yala, where he counts the stars every night, but one night a strange, sad sound interrupts him. When he goes to investigate, he is taken aback by what he finds. This enchanting story was awarded 1st Prize, in the University of Panama's Children's Literature Contest.
